Band Biography
Flatland Harmony Experiment is a non-traditional vocally driven bluegrass string band based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. FHE started in the summer 2011. Since then the Flatland Harmony Experiment has worked relentlessly across the midwest and has been received with open arms. Flatland Harmony Experiment is Scott Nelson on upright bass, Kris Potts on Mandolin, and Johnny Plott on Banjo.
Some of the bands accomplishments are listed below:
-Played in over 20 local/regional/national music festivals
-Actively play and have played in IN, IL, WI, MI, OH, KY, TN, MO
-Ranked #1 in The Reverbnation Bluegrass Charts for Indianapolis- January 2013
-Ranked #102 in the Reverbnation Bluegrass Charts Nationally- January 2013
-Recorded, mixed and released an all original
full length album entitled “On Our Way“
-The APD Global Radio Indicator Charts for the month of October charted

#9 in the Top 50 Albums- October 2012
